Update on C.difficile Public Reporting - August 19, 2008 To help hospitals better understand and meet the new C. Difficile reporting requirements, the OHA hosted a videoconference and live webcast event, featuring Dr. Michael Baker, Executive Lead, Patient Safety, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC). Dr Baker discussed the public reporting expectations, as well as addressed any questions regarding C.difficile public reporting. Dr. Michael Gardam, Director of Infection Prevention and Control, University Health Network was also present during the session to assist in answering questions regarding the management of C.difficile.
